Yay, a second blog!

Us
Well, as of yesterday, Tyler and I have known each other 13yrs. Yup, since the first day of 7th grade. He was really sweet and, under the guise of fetching donuts for breakfast, bought me the most beautiful pink roses. I don't usually like roses but these are gorgous and still closed up tight so they'll last for ever. Of course, later that day he sneezed on me and got mucus all over me and made me cry so it evened out :P

We (well Tyler and Braden) cleaned out  and moved our fish tank last night/this morning and the house now smells like seaweed. There is also a much bigger mess to clean up now! Sadly, we lost two fish in the move... the ginormous Pacu and Upside-down Catfish :( I'm so sad about Pacu... he was smaller than my palm when we got him and he died bigger than a full-size dinner plate... he was so cool even if he liked eating other fish despite being a "non-aggressive". He actually tore the bottom jaw off an Oscar about the same size as him.

Baby Claire
My child hates me wearing pants... like really really hates it. All day she has been kicking at my waistbband trying to get me to move it down or take them off... I can only wear them so low, sweetheart! Its highly disturbing. She also gets mad and wakes up kicking if I drink anything too cold.  My back's killing me and I would tell you how weird my belly buttons getting but Allison would kill me for talking about it again :P

Bug
Well she just asked me if I have a splinter in my butt.... I don't know either and I'm not going to risk asking.
Anyways, she is such a little goober and so freaking smart/retentive. Tyler was reading her favorite book to her the other day (Five Little Ladybugs) and got to "2 little ladybugs basking in the sun, along came a frog and then there was...." (How sad is it that I know the whole book by heart?)  Tyler said basking wrong (bAsking like in bAsteing) and she interrupted him all indignant "Its basking Daddy! Basking not bAsking!!!" It was so funny.

She's actually really into reading right now. I probably read separate 12 books a day, 5+ times each. Its really hard on my voice! When its naptime, if she can't fall asleep right away, I hear her reading to Jack or hospital bear. She actually has memorized a lot of the books really well.

A few mornings ago, she decided to play phlebotomist all morning. She found a long strip of rubber wrapped it around my arm in the right place for a tourniquet. I had to make a fist and then she used a pen as a needle right on my vein (honestly, it hurt pretty bad!). She prolly kept entertained by drawing my and Daddy's and all her baby's blood for a good 3hrs. We talked about blood and veins and the body and she was really interested in it all. She is so gonna be a little doctor or something!
